CoSolutions is looking to hire an Information Systems Architect- Sr in Quantico, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the design, development, implementation, and support of business and/or technical IT solutions encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies.
• Define project scope, plans and deliverables including cost projections and proposed implementation dates.
• Assist leadership in determining technical direction of the organization.
• Research, analyze, recommend and implement new technologies, standard processes, tools, and techniques.
• Create portions of IT plans based on an understanding of the customer's organizational strategic direction, technology context, and business needs.
• Coach and provide technical support to others on the application of new technologies, project management, and system development methodologies.
• Provide technical support for marketing initiatives through participation in proposals and marketing studies.
• Review other system and programming designs to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources, and integration of multiple systems and technologies.
• Identify, develop, update, and enforce standards and procedures.
• Monitor and ensure resolutions of performance issues.
• Interface with support groups on production problems, technical concerns, and financial issues.
• Research, evaluate, and stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.

Requirements:


Experience
: 10 years in IT field

Experience in Information Technology (IT) projects in a complex environment.

Specialized experience in disciplines such as, but not limited to, information security, privacy, and information assurance, assembly/integration,

cross-discipline functions, data engineering, industry expertise, knowledge engineering, legacy evolution, or system infrastructure

Degree : Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university

Certifications : IAT Level II

SAIC is rapidly growing a System Integration team to deliver a new, complex space and ground system in support of National Security. This exciting and innovative program, located in Chantilly, VA, is leveraging best practices in system engineering, via Digital Engineering, MBSE, Agile software development, and DevSecOps processes and technology. This multi-year contract will require energetic engineers to define and integrate major space systems and associated ground elements from concept into an operational enterprise

We have an opening for a Information Systems Architect to provide systems engineering and project management for a dynamic infrastructure in support of a DOD Customer. Our program is integrating space and ground architectures to create a next generation system. We are responsible for providing the DevSecOps environment and supporting infrastructure.

The Information System Architect works closely with the ground and space developers and our customer to develop solutions that enable digital engineering, and modeling and simulation environments. The Ground System Architect is an individual contributor and member of a team of SMEs, and systems engineers who develop operational, functional, and technical system designs.
Specifically, the Information System Architect:

* Serves as the representative technical expert in developing architecture artifacts that convey graphical understanding of the infrastructure functions, designs and operation
* Coordinates with technical domain SMEs to gather understanding of the systems and interfaces necessary to satisfy development environment requirements
* Prepares proposals and cost estimates for system enhancements and alternate courses of action
* Develops and present briefings to engineering boards to guide the program through the engineering and acquisition trade space

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience

* Active TS, TS/SCI preferred
* Bachelor degree in engineering, science, or related disciplines
* Exceptional communication and project coordination skills
* Solid understanding of Ground systems Architectures and Test & Integration Environments
* Experience in DevSecOps Environments, Microsoft Azure, and the CI/CD pipeline tool chain
* Expert in Microsoft Visio
* Proven experience in the development, implementation and support of complex system architectures

**In this role, you will:**

+ **Manage and lead a team of senior security architects to develop and maintain the security architecture for business systems, infrastructure and corporate architectures including Information and Cyber Security organization.**

+ **Provide strategic architecture direction focusing on product and journey-based architecture for Information & Cyber Security and security architecture for enterprise business products and services.**

+ Collaborate and consult with executive/senior leadership and Lines of Business (LOB) partners to understand business needs and goals, and to influence and evolve innovative, effective security architecture solutions to meet those needs.

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ Experience in product and journey based architecture and strategy

+ Experience designing architecture and implementing technology solutions for information and cyber security, security architecture for line of business products and services and technology products and services.

+ Knowledge and understanding of core information security domains such as identity and access management, cloud security, cyber defense, devsecops, cyber defense and information protection.

+ Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels.

+ Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience.

+ Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams in a change driven environment.

+ Ability to manage initiatives related to the following: architecture roadmap that aligns with business strategy and the broader architecture community; capacity planning, consolidation and rationalization; related emerging technology assessment and incubation.

+ Experience with Agile.

+ May require up to 25% travel

+ Willingness to work on-site at the location listed
