We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer in our Casa Grande location. This position requires an experienced technical expert on infrastructure projects in relation to storage, systems management and cloud services, to name a few. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
The RoleOperate as a technical expert on infrastructure projects pertaining to Storage, Virtual Machines, Systems Management, Cloud Services, Monitoring, File Serving, Capacity Planning, and DR.Perform IT implementations, performance analysis and optimization, monitoring, problem resolution, upgrade planning and execution, and process creation and documentation.Continually analyze and work to improve quality of services offered by IT.Participate in ongoing technology evaluations and keep up with technology trends and industry standards.Suggest improvements based on technology, best practices, or changing requirements.Provide regular management updates on advantages and potential opportunities for new technologies and automation.Work with and manage outside consulting technical subject matter experts as needed.Help resolve complex IT issues in a Tier 3 capacity.Train/Mentor junior staff members as appropriate.
Qualifications5+ years of experience working with Windows Server environments.5+ years of experience working with VMware ESXi.Experience with mission-critical services and applications in an enterprise environment.Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.Self-motivator able to take tasks or projects and run with them Great oral and written communication skills Ability to work well and collaborate with other teams of various skills.Strong analytical skills coupled with technical creativity and vision.

• Design, configure, deploy and troubleshoot server, cloud platform services and software.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Considered to have expert level skills in several of these technologies: Microsoft Hyper-V hosts and clusters, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Azure platform services, Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365 services, Windows IIS, RHEL, Ubuntu.
• Significant experience and knowledge of networking techniques to maximize flow of information: IP, DHCP, DNS, WAN, LAN, VPN, Active Directory, Network Policies.
• Actively drives decisions that involve multiple technologies knowing who and how to pull in others for consensus.
• Initiates and leads highly complicated work setting the direction for what they and others do to accomplish a project.
• Ability to work as part of a global team, can coach others, provide direction to team members, and assist with escalations.
• Strong oral and written communication. Ability to convert ideas into practical applications.

Essential Job Functions

* Manage and support Enterprise IT Infrastructure.
* Install, document, backup and troubleshoot technology systems including managed switches, routers, firewalls, and operating systems from various technology vendors.
* Maintain servers and network infrastructure while adhering to IT security standards.
* Ensure high availability of enterprise data platforms that support internal employee business functions and external customer contact.
* Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve network and system problems, performance issues, and computer resource allocation.
* Manage and monitor the HHMLP server infrastructure based primarily on Microsoft, Cisco UCS, Hyper-V and Pure Storage technologies.
* Work with other IT Department members to integrate systems using APIs, REST, iPaaS and Operations SaaS such as BetterCloud.
* Develop and maintain internally-authored Powershell modules used by the IT Department; review & sign scripts produced by other IT Department members.
* Manage and maintain domains, including DNS, in GoDaddy and other registrars.
* Manage and maintain RMM platform, including building policy sets for non-domain-joined devices
* Manage, monitor and maintain Windows Remote Desktop Services for on-site and remote access to Infrastructure server resources and applications.
* Provide technical assistance and mentoring to technical team members to increase skill sets and understanding of data, systems, and architectural design.
* Provide technical consultation on all other aspects of departmental functions.
* Travel to hotel properties across the US to evaluate, design, rebuild, and document multiple technologies at each hotel property
* Perform other duties as requested by management and participate in special projects and technology initiatives as required.

Position Requirements

* Experience with and knowledge of the following technologies/protocols: DHCP, DNS, Firewalls, Windows Server & Desktop OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, Google Workspace, Hyper-V, Windows Remote Desktop Services.
* Proficiency in scripting language(s), especially Powershell
* Ability to work with minimal direct supervision and adhere to company standards while utilizing professional discretion.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and report regularly on status.
* Professional written and verbal communication.
* Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time during the first 12 months is essential.
* Experience in the hospitality Industry is preferred.
* Experience with SANs and Storage Arrays preferred.
* Experience in a complex enterprise environment with multi-campus support preferred.
