Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality rehabilitation services on an as-needed basis. The PTA will work closely with Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans, assist patients in restoring movement and function, and contribute to their overall recovery and well-being. Key Responsibilities Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients and executing treatment plans. Provide direct therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and mobility training. Educate patients on therapeutic techniques and proper use of assistive devices. Observe and document patient progress and report any changes to the Physical Therapist. Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice in physical therapy. Qualifications Education: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Licensure: Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Missouri Experience: Prior experience in rehabilitation or clinical settings preferred.
