The Valve Account Representative is responsible for managing sales activities to satisfy customer requests for field services, valve repair and valve products within an assigned customer base or division. This position works as a liaison between the customer, district sales and district operations group to assure complete customer satisfaction.
Essential Job Functions
Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern Adheres to and is a champion of TEAM's Core ValuesManages internal sales inquiries and accounts as assigned Identifies appropriate sizing of valves based on customer needs and coordinates with valve manufacturers to provide the appropriate product offering Manages sales effort and operational planning by keeping operations informed of potential projects Assesses the customer's needs and coordinates with Corporate Support groups, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Service Line Managers, etc., to effectively service the customer Manages and prepares large bid package submissions, including coordination and effective communication with Service Line Leaders, Business Development Managers, Account Representative, District Managers, and Global Workforce GroupAssesses cost by calculating labor, equipment, material, travel, subcontractor and overhead costs Schedules and notifies the sales team and production department of job timing and requirements, and aids in tracking job costs, as needed Analyzes internal processes to achieve continuous process improvements for the operations and sales groups Analyzes Accounts Receivable issues, as needed Forwards information to corporate for execution.
