The Installation Foreman is responsible for providing a professional delivery and installation that meets the needs of our customers and protects the interests of Tangram. The Installation Foreman is responsible for ensuring that field personnel take all precaution possible to protect the customer's facility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

Work Process & Quality
· Review all documentation prior to arriving at the customer site, and take appropriate action if information is incomplete, unclear, etc.
· Ensure necessary field equipment, tools, and supplies are pulled and loaded, and returned and put away in the appropriate location.
· Load and unload trucks including furniture, equipment, boxes, and other items. Ensure correct product is loaded, and secured and protected to prevent damage during transport.
· Perform receiving functions at customer site including checking quantities, verifying product and part numbers, and inspecting for damage, missing parts, etc.
· Place product, boxes, and other items on dollies and other equipment, and move to staging, installation, and loading areas.
· Disassemble, assemble, install, align, fine-tune, adjust, clean, and detail furniture.
· Remove debris and trash from customer site, and dispose of appropriately.
· Respect and protect customer's, company's, and other's property.
· Ensure interiors of vehicles are neat and clean.
· Drive company vehicle to pick up and/or deliver product to and from company locations, customer sites, and vendors.

People & Communication
· When acting as a member of a crew, interface with crew leader for work assignments, assembly and installation technique, product or installation plan discrepancies, problem resolution, etc.
· Interface with customers, third party representatives, vendors, and company employees in a consistently clear, polite, and professional manner.

Project Administration
· Ensure appropriate field paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner including, packing lists, delivery tickets, exception reports, project journals, field change orders, etc.
· Obtain customer approval and sign-off on appropriate documents, i.e. packing list, delivery tickets, completed punch list forms, etc.
· Record and tag all products returned to the warehouse.
· Responsible for looking up and specifying replacement parts, and completing exception reports.

The Lead Solar Installer we are looking for is experienced and skilled in providing professional installation for the Momentum solar install teams.

Is this You?

• Repair and install solar panels on residential roofs
• Monitors performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
• Provide and maintain a current, valid driver's license and a clean driving record to safely operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle for company use as necessary
• Follow a preset job schedule and track hours
• Professional appearance and interaction with homeowners at all times is a MUST
• Additional duties required as needed
• You will be provided with any and all required safety equipment

Qualifications

• 1 Year Solar Experience
• 3-5 Years of residential roofing and/ or electric installation is recommended

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions for quality assurance - this includes but is not limited to:
• Climbing ladders/ stairs
• Ability to work safely in a branch/warehouse/rooftop/ attic environment
• Ability to work on rooftops with various pitched surfaces
• Ability to lift 50 - 70lbs
• Ability to move any/all equipment as needed - ladders, tools, etc.
• Ability to work in extreme environments
• (example: hot sun, cold weather, snow, hot/cold attics and homes)
• Ability to operate office equipment including computers to determine accuracy of work performed
• Training and certifications will be provided

• Has physical strength and stamina required to lift and move furniture, boxes and equipment, often in excess of 50 lbs.

• Has strong work ethic and very ethical approach to the business. Is punctual and self-motivated and has the ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including overnight, out of town assignments
• Can plan, organize and effectively direct a large crew of installers on small to large projects (up to crews of 25 or more)
• Can supervise and project manage large and/or complex installation projects (100 plus workstations, complex reconfigurations, etc.)
• Strong crew leader who sets daily performance/result expectations, and has the respect of his/her crew
• Has excellent material handling and logistic skills; practices efficient material handling on, and off, site
• Can analyze and develop detailed work plans and price quotations for installation projects
• Comfortable driving a 26’ straight or cube truck and can do so safely
• Maintain a good driving record and follows all DOT rules and regulations
• Understands interior design and construction processes; can read construction and furniture drawings and blueprints
• Is mechanically adept and has excellent installation technical abilities; proficient with tools and equipment; excellent at custom applications; finished installations are of high quality
• Is extremely product knowledgeable, across all lines of furniture carried by dealership; can figure out installation of new lines through analysis and extrapolation
• Can specify product, using full product nomenclature; understands correct product application and use; can do small layouts and reconfigurations without relying on designers or sales staff
• Is fully knowledgeable of electricity, electrical hookups to building power, data and voice cabling, basic furniture codes, and other technical installation issues
