  • Carefully and diligently perform all phases of field surveying including; Construction Stakeout, Topographical Surveys, Preliminary Boundary Analysis/Stake Out, and As-Built surveys while utilizing tools like Trimble/Leica/Spectre robotic total stations, data collectors, auto-levels, GPS RTK Units, wireless communications, 3D Laser Scanners, etc.
  • Conduct field calculations and sketches; downloading and checking data while being held accountable to accuracy of all survey documents.
  • Maintain and take care of all company equipment and vehicles and ensuring setup is in a secure environment with proper safety precautions in place.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High School Diploma and strong math and computer skills.

  • Ability to complete additional certificates, (OSHA (10, 30, 40, etc.), Hazwoper, TWIC, etc.)
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed and travel with overnight stays if required.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for 8+ hours a day. Exposure to all weather conditions: hot, cold, wet, humid, or other conditions caused by weather. The Instrument Operator will work in the field with the survey crew. Field work is often performed on busy streets or construction sites. Loud noise may be experienced at times. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Position Summary
Union Bidding Process Completed on 9/9/2022

Operates, monitors, and maintains natural gas liquefaction, boiloff and vaporization process systems for the liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant. Work single person rotating shifts encompassing all holidays and weekends (plant is maintained 24/7/365), on shift operator is required to perform all duties until relief arrives, including unscheduled overtime due to illness, injury, and/or inclimate weather, as well as required travel to other LNG plants for needed assistance. Keep up to date records required by DOT 193 and NFPA 59A (operating procedures and records, all security/hazard manuals, and personnel requirements). Works with high pressure gas, cryogenic liquids (-260 degrees), high temperature machinery, high electrical voltage (4160 volts), combustion chambers and at elevated heights.

Essential Functions:
Performs monthly, quarterly and annual scheduled maintenance work orders utilizing 7I Plant Maintenance program, and assists with PMs performed by others.Trains new operators on all plant operation duties and processes.Coordinates all plant processes and required duties as well as maintain correspondence with all LNG plants and Gas Control while performing job duties during high stress situations (e.g., high sendout rates requested by Gas Control to maintain and support proper volume/pressure to distribution system).Provides proactive preventative maintenance (PM) activities (e.g., annual inspections, relief/control valve testing, switch calibrations). Must maintain records on computer system to ensure compliance with state, federal, and Company policies and regulations.Controls operations of equipment and processes to liquefy and vaporize liquid natural gas: removes harmful gases and water; liquefies and transfers gas to storage tanks; transfers liquefied gas from storage tanks, vaporizes liquid gas, and transfers to distribution system (e.g., pipelines, tankers).Monitors plant operating conditions of all LNG plants from control room; responds to alarms, recognizes operational problems; analyzes and adjusts process variables (e.g., start, operation, secure liquefaction/vaporization equipment/processes) to optimize plant performance.Oversees safety and security operations; monitors and controls plant access; evaluates alarms, resolves conditions and appropriately responds to all alarms/issues at all LNG plants.Maintains continuous communications with other LNG plants; monitors their operations; provides assistance to other Operators and personnel when required.Records daily, weekly and monthly data (e.g., meter and gauge readings: barometer, ambient temperature, ELOG and log book, tank level, and equipment readings: temperature , pressure, flow, and rate); prepares accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports.Maintains plant upkeep and appearance.

Qualifications
