The Accelerated Development Program brings together top graduates in the field of Information Technology. This comprehensive program is a full-time opportunity designed to help you jumpstart your career with Raymond James. You will work in a collaborative environment while you develop skills in a core discipline, garner key professional competencies, and gain industry experience through a combination of development workshops, e-learning modules, and skills-based training. An integrated approach of teaching, self-study, and hands-on projects are combined to garner the skills necessary for roles such as application development, business analysis, information security, or system administration.
Participants are aligned to one of the technology disciplines below and paired with a mentor to work side-by-side on real-world projects while continuing their professional development.
**APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT**
The Application Development program runs for six months and focuses on learning a development discipline such as Front-End, Back-End, Database, or Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Participants will be assigned to an application development team and will work on a business project. Upon successful completion of the program, work will continue with a development team.
Applicants should have a minimum of three months of software development experience. JavaScript experience is highly preferred.
**BUSINESS ANALYST**
The Business Analysis program runs for twelve months and focuses on building skills to understand and articulate the underlying needs of the business to various audiences. Participants will be exposed to real-world assignments as part of a project team to gain exposure to products and services while strengthening their experience in the Business Analysis function. Upon successful completion of the program, work will continue within an area of business analysis and support.
