Internet project manager job description

The Internet Services Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the dissemination of information relating to the delivery and development of an internet site/service for the customer. BAE requires an individual who can manage the delivery of content and code of our Drupal-based content management system which presents information on our customer's mission to the public. The individual will:

Work with key stakeholders to develop a clear understanding of a business need, define the project goals and charter, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Apply project management tools/techniques and Agile methodologies. Manage multiple stakeholders, aligning on common goals and communicating risks; run effective meetings. Develop and maintain project plans, identify resource needs, and manage project schedule. Build relationships of trust across functions and organizations; collaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines and deliverables. Anticipate the needs, risks, and challenges based on agency and mission priorities. Map out blockers and dependencies; communicate & establish mutual commitments with related external teams; create or help with solutions to remove blockers and mitigate risk Recommend improvements to established business processes while continuing to deliver high value in execution Lead and drive Drupal development team towards implementation of project goals and requirements


Required Education, Experience, & Skills


Must be a U.S. citizen or a non-citizen who is legally in the U.S. Must have excellent verbal, written, and digital communication skills in English. Must have a Baccalaureate degree or equivalent from a two-four year institution Suitability for employment will be determined by a background investigation. Project Management Professional and Certified Scrum Master certification preferred. 8+ years work experience managing enterprise cross-functional projects required.
