Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Salary Range: $40.00-$50 /an hour
Position Overview: Heavy Equipment operators are responsible for a variety of material-moving equipment daily according to schedule and instructions from Heavy Equipment Coordinator, choosing and setting up the right crane or lift truck for the safe hoisting of equipment and material.
Essential Functions:
Inspect machines and equipment daily, perform routine maintenance procedures and minor repairs as required and initiate additional repair requests from mechanics when necessary.
Ensure equipment lift accessories are in good working condition.
Maintain material moving equipment in good working condition.
Inspect cables for wear and install or replace cables, as needed under Fleet Mechanic supervision.
Determine load weights and check them against lifting capacities to prevent overload.
Inspect bundle packaging for conformance to regulations or customer requirements and remove and batch packaging tickets.
Direct helpers engaged in placing blocking or outrigging under cranes.
Direct truck drivers backing vehicles into loading bays and cover, uncover, or secure loads for delivery.
Ensure cargo is properly secured prior to transporting.
Signal others to coordinate vehicle movement.
Provide additional support to other crane operators as necessary, including working overtime if necessary to complete tasks.
Control cranes, lifts and other equipment using standard operating procedures to ensure effective transportation of materials and safety for all personnel on site.
Maintain visual and radio contact with ground operators according to best practices and site safety regulations and respond to questions and instructions clearly and quickly.
Maintain and update DOT driver log information daily.
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
Skill necessary to maneuver large mobile equipment within moving traffic or limited access areas.
Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Obtain and maintain a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
Obtain and maintain required certification for equipment assigned to operate.

Position Overview: The Senior Federal Project Manager / Estimator is fully responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of assigned solicitation opportunities and projects to ensure the goals and objectives are accomplished within scope, schedule, budget, and key performance indicators. Additionally, this position will participate in Federal: division planning, business development, and scheduling.
Essential Functions
Federal Proposal Team Member
* Participate in lead generation, monitor opportunities, business development, and write proposals
* Attend Federal networking events and assist with strategic initiatives
Federal Estimator:
* Become proficient with Edge estimating software for Federal projects within 9 months
* Attend site walks, pre-bid meetings, roof inspections, project meetings, and others as applicable
* Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors
* Compile project reports, manufacturer documents, and submittals
* Complete risk analysis and recommend margin strategy on complex projects
* Generate custom job cost reports for reviews, tracking, and auditing
Federal Project Manager:
* Facilitate contract/subcontract review to ensure timely execution and risk identification
* Ensure Permits, Certificates of Insurance, and Bonds are issued timely after award
* Coordinate with appropriate team members to develop and submit all project planning
* documents (Site Staging, Safety, Quality, Waste, Small Business Subcontracting, etc.)
* Lead Pre-Construction, Progress, and After-Action meetings with clear agenda and action items
* Prepare Schedule of Values and oversee billings to comply with project goals
* Identify, subcontract, and manager other contractors and architects as applicable to work scope
* Prepare Material Orders and Pick List and confirm quotes from supplier and inventory
* Oversee submittal of all required documents, submittals, and plans by required deadlines
* Maintain required logs and documentation for tracking and financial reporting and forecasting
* Collaborate with Superintendent and Operations to monitor schedule and execute project
* Generate change orders and submit RFIs within 48 hours of notice
* Track specific daily project information and report any deficiencies on a weekly basis
* Review and approve invoices, monitor job costs and update project forecasts
* Return communication with Clients and Stakeholders within 1 business day
* Verify and submit all Project Closeout documents, ensure the warranty is paid promptly
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously as needed
Required Skills and Abilities:
* OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)
* Possess and maintain valid Driver's License
* Excellent understanding of job safety requirements and adherence to all work safety protocols
* Advanced knowledge of Federal construction project compliance and contract requirements
* Exhibit knowledge of general construction as a whole; as well as industry codes and standards
* Ability to lead by example and be involved in the onsite project activities when necessary
* Ability to read/interpret architectural plans, specifications, solicitations, and contracts
* Proficiency with computer systems such as Google Workspace, Primavera, Edge, Microsoft
* Office, Buildertrend, RMS, and various Project Management Software platforms.
* Aptitude for continuous improvement in Federal construction industry and project management

Position Overview: Heavy Equipment operators are responsible for a variety of material-moving equipment daily according to schedule and instructions from Heavy Equipment Coordinator, choosing and setting up the right crane or lift truck for the safe hoisting of equipment and material.
Essential Functions:
Inspect machines and equipment daily, perform routine maintenance procedures and minor repairs as required and initiate additional repair requests from mechanics when necessary.

Maintain material moving equipment in good working condition.
Inspect cables for wear and install or replace cables, as needed under Fleet Mechanic supervision.
Determine load weights and check them against lifting capacities to prevent overload.
Inspect bundle packaging for conformance to regulations or customer requirements and remove and batch packaging tickets.
Direct helpers engaged in placing blocking or outrigging under cranes.
Direct truck drivers backing vehicles into loading bays and cover, uncover, or secure loads for delivery.
Ensure cargo is properly secured prior to transporting.
Signal others to coordinate vehicle movement.
Provide additional support to other crane operators as necessary, including working overtime if necessary to complete tasks.
Control cranes, lifts and other equipment using standard operating procedures to ensure effective transportation of materials and safety for all personnel on site.
Maintain visual and radio contact with ground operators according to best practices and site safety regulations and respond to questions and instructions clearly and quickly.
Maintain and update DOT driver log information daily.
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Position Overview: This position is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day production needs of the company by ensuring quality workmanship. Crew Members are expected to be hard-working, team players with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
Essential Functions:
Help set-up, maintain, and clean-up project sites to ensure safe work practices and compliance with OSHA at all times
Install Formawall Centria DS58 & DS60 metal wall panels, custom preformed metal wall & soffit panels, Parapet Coping & cut miters, standing seam roof panels, custom sheet metal flashing & trim, Fascia, panel sills, profile closures, and window flashings
Properly manage all assigned tools, equipment, and material
Complete all of assigned daily tasks and duties
Report any safety concerns immediately, stopping work if necessary for safety
Report to job on-time, ready to work, asking for clarification and assistance as needed
Required Skills and Abilities:
Experience with standing seams, metal tiles and other sheet metal types.
Must be able to obtain security clearance on military job sites
Demonstrated time-management and organizational skills
Reliable fulfilling all shifts and all required tasks
Ability to follow directions and work hard
Detail-oriented

Job Title: Roofing Foreman
Position Overview: This position is responsible for leading a team of crew members in carrying out the day-to-day needs of the project by ensuring safety, quality workmanship, production, and overall project success.
Essential Functions:
Effectively communicate with Crew Members, Superintendents, and Project Managers regarding scheduling, scope of work and assigned activities, etc. Includes notifying project team of any additional scope items prior to execution.
Participate in pre-construction meeting/pre-job walkthrough with Project Manager and/or Superintendent
Accurately record crew members hours and resolve any timesheet disputes
Directly work to support the growth and development of crew members
Meet and maintain project hours and schedule to ensure project success
Record daily logs to ensure quality, production, and proper job-site documentation
Ensure job site and crew adheres to OSHA safety standards and compliance at all times
Communicate and coordinate with customers and other trades as needed
Conduct/participate in weekly project meetings for scheduling, discussions, and issue resolution
Monitor weather throughout the day to minimize risk of weather events
Ensure job is weather-ready at the end of each day (i.e., materials secured and job watertight)
Plan and communicate next days activities to maximize crew efficiency
Report labor, material and equipment needs with Superintendent in a timely manner
Coordinate with Warehouse Staff to manage/track trailer inventory and restock as needed
Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and job site to ensure a professional appearance
Ensure all tools are properly and securely stored to prevent theft or damage, and report any missing, damaged, or unsafe tools to the Warehouse Manager immediately
Supervisory Responsibilities: Lead and organize a crew of crew members on the job site. Communicate any performance management development opportunities or concerns to Operations Manager.
Required Skills and Abilities:
OSHA 30 hour training (preferred)/OSHA 10 hour certification (minimum required)
Obtain required certificates for operating equipment
Must be able to obtain security clearance on military job sites
Familiar with SMACNA standards and details
Willingness to learn new systems
Ability to understand shop drawings and site plans
Proficient math skills for calculating building areas, lengths, heights, and accurately using a tape measure
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
