Certified Pharmacist Technician-CMOP

Overview:


ProSidian is seeking a Certified Pharmacist Technician to support an engagement with The Veteran's Affairs Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in preparing prescriptions and packages in an accurate, timely, and cost-effective manner without disruption in services or production.
Responsibilities:

* Transcribe prescriptions, perform pharmaceutical dispensing, and reconstitute prescriptions

* Provide patient consultation and quality improvement duties

* Maintain accurate and detailed records of prescriptions and patient information

* Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and policies

* Perform daily light cleaning and maintenance of the pharmacy and equipment

Qualifications:

* Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent

* Certification: Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification

* Completion of a Pharmacy Technician technical education is required

* Minimum of one year experience in a retail pharmacy or customer service setting

* Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
