Clinical dietitian job description
Overview:
Penn State Health is seeking a part-time Clinical Dietitian I to work in a multidisciplinary clinic, focusing on the ketogenic diet for seizure control in pediatric patients. This outpatient position will also involve assisting with inpatient admissions when necessary.
Responsibilities:
* Independently implement nutritional care to patients within established standards of practice
* Work with the ketogenic diet for seizure control in pediatric patients
* Assist with inpatient admissions when necessary
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized, innovative, and specialized care to patients
Qualifications:
* Master's degree required (unless exempted by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR))
* Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (or Registry Eligible) required (CDR)
* Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (Pennsylvania) or eligible for Pennsylvania licensure required
