Librarian - Temporary

Overview:
The Division of Academic Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse is seeking a temporary Librarian to provide a wide variety of professional library services to support creative exploration, intellectual growth, and scholarly pursuits.
Responsibilities:

* Teach library instruction and information literacy sessions to undergraduate classes in a variety of disciplines

* Deliver research assistance to patrons at the reference desk, via phone, email, and chat

* Assist with other duties and special projects based on employee skills and library needs

* Work closely with the Information Literacy and Course Integration librarian and the Technology and Reference Services librarian

Qualifications:

* Master's Degree

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Preferred qualifications include experience with face-to-face instruction or program facilitation in a library or elsewhere, experience with reference in an academic library, and an interest in the library profession.
