BSCS Internship Opportunities for Current BSCS Staff

Overview:


This internship opportunity is exclusively for current Bay State Community Services staff members. The successful candidate will be placed in one of several potential internship opportunities, including Coastal Home-Based Services, Plymouth Home-based Services, or The Trauma Project. These internships provide hands-on experience in providing intensive family clinical support in the home and community.
Responsibilities:

* Review and specify interest in potential internship opportunities

* Participate in structured, consistent, and strengths-based therapeutic interventions

* Improve family's ability to provide effective support for the youth

* Enhance and improve family's capacity to improve the youth's functioning in the home and community

* Collaborate with the Trauma Team to help children, adolescents, and their parents overcome the impact of traumatic events

Qualifications:

* Currently employed at Bay State Community Services

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, and Human Services

* Strong computer skills

* Experience working with youth and families

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to work a flexible schedule
