Adjunct Instructor - Precision Machining

Overview:
Fox Valley Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor - Precision Machining to teach precision machining courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision machining and the ability to develop and deliver high-quality instruction.
Responsibilities:

* Foster student learning by developing appropriate instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs and support student engagement. * Assess student learning and provide regular feedback to help students be successful. * Maintain accurate student attendance and grade records, and ensure opportunities for student engagement evaluation. * Support the college by engaging with the department and staying current with internal and external changes and initiatives. * Build and maintain ongoing relationships with community, industry, and clinical partners. * Serve as an advocate for students and collaborate with Student Services staff to retain students, close achievement gaps, and help all students be successful.
Qualifications:

* Associate degree in a related field required, AND

* Three years of occupational experience in the field of precision machining, of which at least one year shall be within the last five years. * Ability to plan, organize, instruct, and facilitate quality education programs, including development of relevant curriculum and customized training. * Qualified per FVTC requirements at the time of, and throughout employment as an instructor. * Must also meet and maintain Higher Learning Commission (HLC) requirements, Faculty Quality Assurance Standards (FQAS), and/or other job-specific licensing standards.
