Overview:
Georgia Highlands College is seeking a part-time instructor for English courses. As a part-time instructor, you will play a crucial role in preparing and delivering instruction for courses in English, reporting to the Division Chair for the School of Humanities. This is an excellent opportunity to impact the lives of thousands of students and their families.
Responsibilities:

* Manage courses through systematic use of syllabi

* Keep accurate records of students' class performance, attendance, and grades

* Adopt and implement common course objectives

* Attend part-time faculty orientation prior to the beginning of the semester

* Participate in assessment of student learning outcomes

Qualifications:

* Master's degree with 18 hours of graduate-level English and Writing courses

* Available to teach day, evening, or weekends at any of the Georgia Highlands College instructional sites

GHC even offers extensive scholarship opportunities for study-abroad programs. GHC offers financial aid through federally funded sources like Pell grants and loans. They also offer various scholarships. These include a scholarship for students over age 25, scholarships for nursing students, scholarships for disabled students and academic scholarships. Those seeking admissions to most programs need simply fill out an application and submit transcripts or GED scores. Some programs, like nursing, have additional admissions requirements.
