Substitute Teachers for White Mountain Elementary

We are seeking qualified Substitute Teachers to join our team at White Mountain Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year. As a Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly environment, providing instruction to students, and working collaboratively with teachers and staff.
Responsibilities:

* Maintain a safe and orderly environment

* Maintain order in the classroom and on the playground

* Lecture, demonstrate, and use audiovisual teaching aids to present subject matter to class, according to instructor lesson plans

* Administer tests

* Assign lessons, correct papers, and listen to oral presentations

* Keep attendance and grade records as required by school

* Coordinate class field trips

* Work productively as part of a team

* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* NM Public Education Department Substitute Teacher License or eligibility

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, lesson plans, and procedure manuals

* Ability to speak effectively before groups of students

* Demonstrate a willingness to work in a cooperative working environment

* Experience with technology

* Strong reading, written, verbal and interpersonal skills

Benefits:

* Daily Salary Substitute Teacher:

+ Bachelor's Degree - $18.71 per hour, $145.00 per 7.75-hour day

+ Non-Degreed - $15.00 per hour, $116.25 per 7.75-hour day

* Daily Salary Long Term Substitute Teacher:

+ Bachelor's Degree - $20.00 per hour, $155.00 per 7.75-hour day

+ Non-Degreed - $17.42 per hour, $135.00 per 7.75-hour day
