The Sacramento City Unified School District is seeking Substitute Teachers for our Child Development Program, which serves children from birth to elementary school age. As a Substitute Teacher, you will plan, carry out, and evaluate developmentally appropriate instructional activities for our students. Responsibilities:

* Plan, carry out, and evaluate developmentally appropriate instructional activities for children between the ages of birth and elementary school years

* Work with Infant/Toddlers, Preschool Aged, and School Aged Children

* Substitute on an as-needed basis, working on-call

* Meet the necessary qualifications and requirements for the position

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field

* Child Development Permit (Site Supervisor or Program Director) issued by California Commission on Teacher Credentialing

* Infant/toddler coursework or Elementary Teaching Credential with ECE/CD units

* Supervised field experience

* Must provide official university transcripts indicating Bachelor's Degree conferred
