Physician - Corewell Health Primary Care - Internal Medicine - St Joseph, MI

Overview:
Corewell Health Primary Care, Internal Medicine - Royalton, is seeking a full-time internal medicine physician to join our dedicated team in Southwest Michigan. As a core faculty member, you will provide patient care and teach our Internal Medicine Residency program. Our practice serves as the base clinic for our internal medicine residents.
Responsibilities:

* Provide patient care through appointments of 15 or 30 minutes, including acute visits, follow-ups, physical exams, new patients, pediatric care, pap smears and pelvic exams, and typical primary care procedures such as I&D and joint injections

* Participate in core faculty responsibilities for our Internal Medicine Residency program

* Collaborate with a team of seven providers, including physicians and advanced practice providers

* Utilize Epic as our electronic health record system and Abridge, a generative AI platform for clinical conversations

* No weekends or on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

* Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

* Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

* Fluency in dictation and experience with electronic health records
