Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled VRA Consultant to join our team in St. Louis, MO. As a VRA Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients in the implementation and management of VMware vRealize Automation (vRA) and vRealize Operations (vRO) solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical expertise and support to clients in the implementation and management of vRA and vRO solutions
* Design and develop custom dashboards using vROps
* Create extensibility adapters for storage and application-specific adapters for SQL and Oracle
* Have a good understanding of Hyperic and how it can be used to monitor operating system metrics and port that data into custom dashboards
* Provide hands-on vCenter Operations Manager (vCOPS) experience
* Work with clients to identify and resolve technical issues related to vRA and vRO solutions
Qualifications:
* 4+ months of experience in VRA or vRO
* Strong understanding of standard blueprints and experience creating them in dev and production environments
* Experience with PowerShell and JavaScript scripting
* Fluency in custom dashboard creation and understanding of extensibility adapters
* Good knowledge base of distributed vROps 6.1 implementation
* Hands-on vCenter Operations Manager (vCOPS) experience
