Environmental Heavy Equipment Operator

Overview**

L.K. Jordan and Associates is seeking a highly experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for a temp-to-hire position with a Texas-based Environmental Company. This role will involve operating heavy equipment in various environments, including industrial construction, demolition, energy, and trucking services.
Responsibilities

* Complete and maintain daily inspection logs, accurately and completely

* Report any unsafe conditions

* Operate heavy equipment efficiently, including excavators, wheel loaders, backhoes, dozers, track loaders, and off-road trucks

* Lift over 40-lbs continuously

* Work in confined spaces and on and/or near water

* Participate in daily health and safety meetings

* Operate zero-turn commercial lawn mower

* Complete general laborer duties when required

* Work in all weather conditions, including heat

Qualifications

* A minimum of one year experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator

* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

* Ability to wear N95 face mask while working

* Ability to submit to a drug test and background check

Benefits

* Competitive hourly rate of $22.00 - $24.00

* Monday-Friday work schedule with occasional Saturday work and overtime as needed

* Average 50+ hours per week

* Periodic travel during the week, with weekends off
