SY25-26 J.F. Kennedy Middle School Paraprofessional

Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Paraprofessional to join our team at J.F. Kennedy Middle School in the Springfield Empowerment Zone Partnership. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting students and teachers in a collaborative and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:

* Support students and teachers in a middle school setting

* Assist with lesson planning, implementation, and assessment

* Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs

* Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

* Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED, and an Associate of Arts or Science Degree or higher, or 60 undergraduate college credits, or meeting or exceeding the State mandated score on the Paraprofessional Assessment or Work Keys Assessment

* Preferred qualifications include a BA Degree with Educator Licensure, experience working with special education students in education settings, and a passing score on the Work Keys Exams in the following areas: Workplace Documents, Applied Math, and Business Writing
