Manufacturing Engineer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Thinkpath Engineering Services (TES). The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing efficient manufacturing methods, designing and procuring special tooling and equipment, and ensuring that products meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities:

* Based on customer orders, plan sequences of operations for fabrication and assembly of products

* Ensure efficient and effective manufacturing methods are used that are compatible to available machines

* Specify, design, and/or procure special tooling or equipment required to attain product per customer requirement with in budgeted cost and time

* Program CNC machines to effectively and efficiently produce desired product

* Participate in the Company's Corrective Action and MRB Boards

* Analyze and resolve fabrication and tooling issues to avoid problems

* Create new or modify existing manufacturing drawings using CAD methodology

* Value engineer existing products and processes to reduce cost, lead time, and cycle times

* Comply with all company policies/procedures and military and contractual requirements

Qualifications:

* CAD/CAM software use

* Solid analytical skills and solution-driven thinking

* Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner

* Displays original thinking and creativity

* Learns quickly when facing new problems

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Passion for data, analysis, trends, reporting, and technology

* Demonstrated aptitude for process improvement and use of Lean and Six-Sigma resources and tools

* Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project, Solidworks, CATIA, and other applicable tools
