Software Test Engineer

Overview:


ProSidian Consulting is seeking a talented Software Test Engineer to support an engagement for an Agency dedicated to the safety, health, and security of 2.5 million workers. As a member of our team, you will work to provide expert-level Information Technology (IT) Quality Assurance (QA) consulting services, supporting a full cross-agency "business transformation" initiative.
Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage a team of Software Test Engineers or Software QA Engineers while working with solution development teams

* Possess high technical competence, track record of strong coding and technical accomplishment

* 5+ years of development or testing management experience

* Experience in building testing frameworks and in test automation

* Strong project management skills

* Proven track record for high-quality product delivery

* Able to mentor junior members, give technical advice and direction, and provide hands-on management

* Knowledge of various testing techniques and approaches

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

* At least 3 years of work experience in a position with comparable responsibilities

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tools and technology

* Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email

* Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years
