DAY-TO-DAY
This full-time dishwashing position works varying hours according to the needs of our country club.
As a Night Shift Kitchen Cleaner / Dishwasher with our hospitality team, you are responsible for cleaning our dishes, utensils, and kitchen according to established sanitation guidelines. You wash all of our kitchenware either by hand or in the dishwashing machine as well as polish our silverware, platters, and chafing dishes. As needed, you assist with setting up and breaking buffets. After each meal period, you promptly clean all dishes in the dish area and in the dishwashing machine. You make sure that the machine is set at the correct temperature for both washing and rinsing.
Other tasks you assist with include food preparation and properly storing foods after delivery as well as cleaning coolers, freezers, and storerooms. In addition, you collect trash from all kitchen areas and replace bags in garbage cans. You break down boxes and crates that are left behind and remove any additional debris you find around the kitchen. To keep all our stainless steel in tip-top shape, you wipe down shelves, dish cabinets, ice machines, coffee areas, and refrigerators.
At the end of your shift, you wash all of the kitchen mats to prepare them for the morning shift. Using your excellent organizational skills, you make sure that all weekly kitchen cleaning and maintenance lists are completed.
