Brief Summary:
The Lamination Operator will report directly to the Production Manager and will be trained on the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must fully learn the lamination process from lay-up to lam press
- Loading a recipe or monitoring an established process profile for OEM and PHI press machines
- And other duties as assigned
Physical:
- Bending and lifting (rolling or sliding of up to 100 pounds with assistance)
- Walking and standing during most of the shift
- Manual dexterity
Skills/ Education:
- High school diploma preferred but not required
- Read, write, and speak English
- Good communication skills.

*$1,000 Sign-On Bonus*
*1st & 2nd Shift Available*
This position is responsible for daily output of finished product including but not limited to stone fabrication of mitered and laminated countertops.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn and apply the concepts of Cambria Lamination work as outlined in the Lamination SOP's
- Utilize a handsaw or grinder to complete finish cuts on fabricated pieces
- Willingness to work with an adhesive bonding glue
- Perform quality checks on finished pieces
- Utilize overhead crane to move large finished pieces
- Inspect the overhead crane on a daily basis
- Interpret blueprints and sketches to plan, set up, and operate lamination equipment
- Cross-train on multiple types of equipment
- Perform all required documentation with detail and accuracy
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Conduct all job related duties in a safe and responsible manner
- Attend work daily, be punctual, and work the duration of a shift
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous carpentry experience preferred
- Ability to read and write all required information, including blueprints
- Excellent organizational skills
- Sense of urgency in completing work
- Proficiency with basic mathematics
- Ability to work safely and follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends on short notice
- Ability to work rotating and off-shifts as needed.
- Ability to stand on concrete for the duration of a work shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Command Digital is seeking a Laminator Operator for 2nd Shift (3 PM - 11 PM). This position is responsible for the lamination of covers as well as ID cards and die cutting.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the following equipment: Komfi Delta 52 Laminators, Kompac Kwik Finish 20 UV Coater, AutoFeeds ID card Laminator, AutoFeeds rotary die cutter
- Safely load rolls of film on to the laminator for lamination of covers
- Change dies for different card layouts
- Safely and efficiently produce laminated ID cards to the required specifications
- Perform quality checks, maintain sequential order, and secure finished materials
- Read and clearly comprehend job orders
- Set up and run equipment according to SOPs, safety requirements, job tickets, and instructions from supervisor
- Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Clean and maintain machinery and work area at the beginning and end of every shift.
- Must input production data from each job into scan station.
- Report any issues to supervisor, or manager as required.
- As required by client, monitor quality of all products
- Exhibit safe work practices
- Must have 3 to 5 years of previous experience operating a film laminator.
- The ability to lift film rolls up to 100 lbs. with or without assistance
- The ability to take measurements in standard and metric
- The ability to learn new skills
