Starting Pay Rate: $13.50/HR Paid Weekly

Attendance Bonus - $600.00 Paid out over 90 days.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to sort returned, soiled linen into appropriate classifications in preparation for washing.

Duties & Essential Job Functions

1. Open customer returned soil bags (bags weigh ~45 lbs.), discard plastic, spread product out to allow for visibility on soil belt. Pre‐sort classifications as required. Production standard are 45 bags or 2000 lbs. opened per hour for each operator.

2. Operators located on the work platform float between multiple positions moving up and down the belt sorting into the appropriate bins or slots.

3. Move empty carts to appropriate area for cleaning and reuse.

Other Functions and Responsibilities

1. Any other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.

What will I be doing?


A Laundry Sorter is responsible for ensuring the proper sorting and distribution of laundry to meet Hilton's high standards of quality. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:


Pre-sort and separate linen by classification and transfer by lifting, carrying or transporting to work stations.

Empty the laundry chute. load off-site customer laundry onto belt and prepare loads for washer.

Run folding equipment to fold mats, blankets, towels, bedspreads, etc.

Separate out laundry requiring mending or special stain removal.

Clean empty hampers.
