This position collaborates closely with site leadership, TAR and capital managers, project engineering, and contractors to ensure procurement strategies support safety, schedule, and budget requirements. The Senior Category Leader develops multi-year sourcing plans, negotiates high-value contracts, manages supplier performance, and drives continuous improvement in procurement execution for projects often exceeding $75MM in spend. They serve as a strategic advisor to the business, identifying opportunities for innovation, sustainability, and commercial advantage through deep category expertise and supplier engagement. This role will create multi-year category plans, build and maintain supplier relationships, ensures compliance with internal standards, and drives continuous improvement in value, performance, and risk management.
