BAE Systems' Model Based Agile Engineering (MBAE) is seeking a senior/experienced Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) professional versed in the philosophy and practice of MBSE. The MBAE group is fully responsible for promulgating Agile-MBSE practices, MBSE training, technically assisting all ES Sector programs in their MBSE model development and the proper application of MBSE process and technique to their program. As an MBAE MBSE engineer this individual is expected to have all the technical MBSE skills necessary to be capable of assisting in the successful guidance of a program in their total MBSE development activities. This individual may interface with program and upper management but spend most of their time doing hands-on development and mentoring. This includes administering the MBSE execution plan and working directly with the engineering team. Internal to the MBAE group itself this individual is expected to assist in the development of MBSE training materials and company MBSE best process and practices.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

* 8+ Years practicing System Engineer
* Solid understanding of UML and SysML
* Solid experience using MagicDraw/Cameo, EASparx, Rhapsody
* Understands the model database
* Understands validation rules and specialized searches in the model database
* Demonstrate ability to analyze problems through MBSE model Education

Stellar Solutions is looking for an experienced Modeling and Simulation Lead. The successful applicant will guide the Government's technical team evaluating architectural solutions for Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) exploitation to support national security goals, including missile warning and defense.

Performance Objectives: The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with industry experience delivering national security systems to meet evolving global threats. The Lead will define and guide the M&S team, comprised of OPIR SMEs with niche expertise, through evaluation of the complete capability of multiple OPIR systems on-orbit, in development, and in the concept phase to meet future national security needs. The M&S Lead will be highly versed in program management in order to discern realistic timelines for new concepts, identify development risks and architectural-level mitigation options, define high-level requirements, and advise the Government on optimal use of available funds to maximize OPIR benefits now and into the future. The M&S lead will work closely with Government leadership at Space Systems Command, other USSF organizations, the Intelligence Community, and Missile Defense Agency to ensure accurate and timely analyses are presented to decision-makers. The successful applicant will assess risk, collaboratively with the community of stakeholders, to space, ground, and user segments of the OPIR architecture, identifying the key roadblocks to comprehensive and timely distribution of OPIR data. Work will be primarily conducted at Los Angeles AFB, CA with potential for travel in the United States to support program execution activities.
