Summary/Objective:
The powder coat line tender position tends to various task involved in the powder coat process for metal structures, applying layer(s) assuring even and consistent film to provide quality to the customer. Communicate with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.
Essential Functions:
Loads and Unloads conveyor line per part requirement until parts run is finished.
Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) principles and practices of powder coating application.
Inspect products to ensure no contamination, defects, masking, and or any incomplete coating coverage is present and ensure all components are produced/coated efficiently and are consistent
Label / Pack per SOWI per Part Number / Customer
Reworkable, repairable, or any damaged parts must be contained in the Non-Conformance area awaiting MRB or designee for Disposition decision.
Touch Up to the painting process upon inspection training completion to ensure quality products are produced at all times.
Package and protect parts for shipment by loading and unloading products onto specified packing containers
Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
Communicate with other departments as necessary
Keep work areas clean and organized
Adhere to all company rules and policies
Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor
