Perform quality checks on work tasks to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Clean and maintain tools, machinery, and work areas, ensuring they are ready for use. Support the team in troubleshooting and addressing basic issues with materials, tools, or equipment. Assist in training or mentoring less experienced Laborer I team members. Help maintain project timelines by ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. Perform other tasks as assigned by project supervisors. Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in an industrial or construction environment, with some exposure to specialized craft work. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other industrial equipment. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or project plans. Knowledge of basic industrial safety practices and ability to follow safety guidelines. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team. Good physical endurance and the ability to perform manual labor tasks. Must be able to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and handle a variety of work environments. Preferred Skills: Experience in a specialized craft area (e.g., refractory, fabrication, scaffolding). OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Basic first aid or CPR certification. Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision when required. Physical Requirements Work is primarily performed on construction job sites, exposed to outdoor elements and varying weather conditions. Must be able to work in confined spaces or elevated areas depending on the project. Physical labor may be required, including the ability to lift and move equipment or materials.
