Job Summary GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT: Under the general direction of the Supply Support Manager and Team Lead, assess, replenish and maintain unit supply rooms on a daily basis. Functions as a customer service liaison between individual units and Supply Support. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform basic distribution functions including, but not limited to, unit assessment and replenishment of assigned Nursing Units. Stock and maintain unit supply rooms on a daily basis. Rotate stock and monitor expiration dates on various med/surg products to ensure usage or remove from inventory department prior to expiration date. Identify and resolve any discrepancies, problems or questions related to inventory and distribution process. Report status to Team Lead. Focus on customer service issues such as resolving customer inquiries related to Supply Support and maintaining positive working relationships with individual unit staff members. Collaborate with Nursing Unit staff members on planning, logistics, and supply continuity. Follows hospital, TJC, DPS, OSHA and CMS guidelines and procedures for supply stocking and rotation. The material handler may be present in secure medication storage areas and are allowed to handle and distribute medications supplied by the BWH materials management department. COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE $18.00 hourly Monday - Friday (11:00AM- 11:00PM), Full-Time, Non -Exempt WHAT YOU WILL DO * Operate material handling equipment needed to perform primary role i.e; Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser (Cart), Pallet jack, Scanners, Tablets and Company WMS. * Perform and complete daily safety inspection check list for all equipment used. * Maintain productivity minimum requirements CPH, and work with a sense of urgency * Retrieve inventory from up-stock and floor locations and deliver to designated areas * Operate barcode scanner and use warehouse software * Act professionally and remain focused while working * Safely operate all warehouse equipment * Follow directions of leadership * Perform cleaning activities as required * Maintain a safe and clean warehouse * Maintain a positive attitude * Additional responsibilities as assigned by management WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * High School Diploma * Must be in good standing with the company * Ability to read and understand pick tickets and labels written in English * Ability to use electronic devices * Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers quickly and accurately * Ability to follow detailed instructions * Detail oriented * Ability to work independently without close supervision * Ability to prioritize assignments in order to meet cut off times. * Able to work in a fast-paced environment * Ability to lift 50 pounds or more * Ability to learn or be trained on using power equipment: Order Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser, Pallet Jack, Electric Pallet Jack, Forklift, etc. * Willing to perform other duties as required * Able to work overtime if required PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT Must be able to wear proper safety equipment if required (examples include safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest). PHYSICAL DEMANDS In performing the job of a Restock Driver, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate Hand-Eye coordination, near vision, far vision and hearing is required for the operation of warehouse machinery. WORKING ENVIRONMENT * The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. * The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise. Marina Dock Attendant / Dock Hand - Ocean Havens Marinas Boston Harbor Shipyard and Marina is looking to fill available roles for our dock attendant/ dock hand position this summer! Boston Harbor Shipyard and Marina is home to many eclectic tenants, both onshore and in the water, and ideal candidates will contribute to the friendly atmosphere. During the boating season, the dock hand is the first and last person the guests interact with, they are essential to the environment we aim to create. The right person for this job is cheerful, determined, knowledgeable, and courteous towards the customers at all times. Our dock hands assist our customers from the time they dock at the marina to the time they leave. Providing outstanding customer service, while maintaining the company's professionalism on and off-site. While a dock hand's primary focus is ensuring the customer has an amazing experience with us at BHSM, safety is of the utmost importance. Responsibilities: The dockhand position requires a willingness and the ability to assist in many tasks throughout the marina, these include and are not limited to: Treating all customers with first-class service. Performing daily opening and closing duties, daily dock walks, and grounds maintenance. Ability to learn and memorize marina rates and general policies. Contributing towards a safe, healthy, clean, friendly, and fun environment. Cleaning and restocking restrooms. Cleaning docks, walkways, equipment, and all other areas of the facility. Assisting with special events hosted at the marina that take place outside of normal operating hours. Maintaining the safety of yourself and guests. Assisting guests with any boating needs. Other responsibilities as assigned. Position Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to use VHF radio. Ability to swim. Ability to operate small handheld and power tools.
