Arconic is currently in search of Truck Loader to join our Kawneer/Team in Visalia. $24.32/hour is base pay for this position. The Truck Loader is responsible to load and unload trucks and move materials within or near plant, yard, or work site. This is 2nd shift (3pm to 11:30pm)

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
One to six months related work experience is preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondents.

Ability to count, to add, to subtract and to multiply simple numbers.

Able to read work order and follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be shipped.
Prepares trucks for loading or unloading based on type of truck and weight of material to be loaded or unloaded.
Loads truck in accordance to loading patterns and to prevent shifting or damage to materials or products during transit.
Verifies materials loaded or unloaded against work order or bill of lading.
Operates overhead crane, fork lift truck or uses electric pallet jack to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials shipped on daily production sheet.
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment.
Cross train with the boxing department.
Participate in the physical inventory process.
May need to flex into material handling as needed
