Position Overview
Due to our exponential growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Material Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the transfer of materials for the shipping operation ensuring accuracy, organization, and efficiency in all shipping activities. The Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, put away, replenishing, and maintaining the overall organization of our warehouse pack out materials.
Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
Efficiently and accurately put away received items in designated storage locations.
Load and unload deliveries of boxes, ice pallets and other ancillary warehouse and pack out supplies.
Ensure packing line is supplied with sufficient hard materials to ensure constant workflow.
Ensure that all inventory items meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
Assist in shipping pack out processes- including boxing and packing.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory control and contribute to the implementation of best practices.

A Day in the Life:

The GCC provides CSSP responsibilities and conducts DODIN Operations and DCO - Internal Defensive Measures (IDM) to protect the DODIN IAW the DoDM 8530.01 and the DoD Cybersecurity Services Evaluator Scoring Metrics (ESM). These responsibilities are broken into five (5) CSSP functions; Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover. GCC is responsible to conduct these functions for its assigned portion of the DODIN for both unclassified and classified networks/ systems.
The division provides support services for the protection, monitoring, analysis, detection, and response to unauthorized activity within the DoD Information Systems and Networks.
DCO-IDM services are required to defend against unauthorized activity on all Army assets residing on the NIPRNet and SIPRNet.
The division provides defensive measures to protect and defend information, computers, and networks from disruption, denial, degradation, or destruction.
The division provides sensor management and event analysis and response for network and host-based events. For sensor management, the division provides management of in-line Network Intrusion Protection System/Network Intrusion Detection System (NIPS/NIDS) sensors monitoring all CONUS DoDIN-A NIPRNet and SIPRNet Enterprise traffic to detect sensor outages and activities that attempt to compromise the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of the network. Perform the following threat and data analysis functions:• Analyze, correlate, and trend anomalous cyber events and incidents: analyze and correlate anomalous events identified in, SIEM systems, Big Data Analytics, and supporting devices/applications. The GCC SIEM ingests feeds from over 21 different connectors to include items such as NIPS sensors, NIDS sensors, and Primary Internet Exchange (PIX) Firewall, proxy, router, policy Orchestrator (ePO) servers, and server system logs, Active Directory, Domain Name Service (DNS), etc., generating over 800 events per second (eps) or over 50 million events per day.• Conduct open-source research to identify commercial exploits or vulnerabilities (i.e. Zero - Day) requiring CSSP actions. Job Summary/Objective
The Hazardous Materials Warehouse Operator plays a vital role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations while specializing in the safe handling, storage, and transportation of hazardous materials. This position involves managing inventory, preparing shipments, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will spend at least half their time in warehouse operations, including operating warehouse equipment and maintaining accurate inventory records through barcode systems, while also handling specialized hazardous materials operations. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, supporting both internal operations and customer service needs while adhering to all DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company regulatory policies.
This role requires a current and valid CDL with both tanker and hazmat endorsements.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Warehouse will be the primary focus, with at least half the time spent with these responsibilities.
Prepare and load delivery trucks with accuracy and efficiency
Receive incoming products and stock inventory in designated locations
Monitor and manage inventory levels using barcode scanning systems
Provide customer assistance and support as needed
Perform routine site maintenance and ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly forklift inspections and maintenance in accordance with OSHA requirements
Safely handle and store hazardous materials, ensuring proper labeling, containment, and compliance with OSHA and EPA standards
Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading (BOLs) and manifests for hazardous materials
Deliver products to dairies and other locations while following all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Participate in emergency response procedures, including spill containment and incident reporting when necessary
Communicate with warehouse management regarding inventory discrepancies, equipment issues, and potential safety hazards
Maintain compliance with all municipal, state, and federal regulations, promptly reporting any non-conformities
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and HACCP guidelines
Adhere to UDA quality, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) policies and procedures, reporting any deviations
Complete additional tasks as assigned to support operational needs

Must be able to work 8-10 hour shifts
Ability to work effectively in both warehouse and delivery environments
Requires ability to read, hear, speak, and comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions
Experience

POSITION SCOPE
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely delivering, moving, loading and unloading a variety of goods in warehouses and on construction sites.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Loading and unloading materials from a variety of vehicles
Moving pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facility
Checking loads are secure
Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance
Following written instructions and keeping records
Adhering to health and safety regulations
Checks that loads are centered and properly stacked
Determines when repairs need to be made on equipment
Completing physical tasks quickly and accurately
Be compliant with OSHA rules and regulations as well as all company policies
Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED
Prior experience as a forklift operator
Forklift or heavy machinery certification
Completion of forklift driving course, a plus
Previous OSHA training a plus
Valid Driver's License
Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to perform basic math
Excellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and ability with spatial relationships
