Sorting and Organizing: Sort and organize freight or products according to predetermined guidelines, ensuring proper placement and storage within the facility. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by tracking incoming and outgoing shipments and communicating any discrepancies to the relevant personnel. Equipment Operation: Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks to facilitate the unloading and loading process, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including supervisors, warehouse personnel, and delivery staff, to ensure the smooth handling and transfer of goods. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Efficiency: Work efficiently and proactively to meet deadlines and contribute to the overall productivity of the operation. Qualifications: Previous experience in lumping, warehouse operations, or a related field is preferred but not required. Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects. Familiarity with warehouse equipment and operations is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of safety procedures and guidelines within a warehouse setting. Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area. Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device. Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed. Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules. Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
