Opportunity summary: As Forklift Driver in our busy shipping bay or warehouse, you will be responsible for operating industrial forklift to track load and/or unload trucks for delivering the units to customers according to their requirements. You will also keep accurate tally of what is shipped to customers. We are a high-volume manufacturing plant, and you will be part of a team that loads up to 60 trailers a day. You will also be responsible for all activities associated with safely operating the forklift in addition to participating in cross training efforts and sharing duties with other drivers. Our forklift drivers may also operate our banding machines to ensure pallets are ready to load.
This is a union facility and we work 8-hour shifts, 12-hour shifts if OT is required. OT is paid at time and ½ for over 40 hours worked. Our plant is not climate controlled.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
Inspect the forklift daily at the start of the shift ensuring all safety features are operational. Complete checklist documenting inspection.
Safely track and move materials throughout the facility safely and efficiently

Collaborate with Nursing Unit staff members on planning, logistics, and supply continuity. Follows hospital, TJC, DPS, OSHA and CMS guidelines and procedures for supply stocking and rotation. The material handler may be present in secure medication storage areas and are allowed to handle and distribute medications supplied by the BWH materials management department. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description:
Perform physical and administrative task in receiving, shipping, storing, and distributing orders/material for supplies and equipment.
Packing products for shipment to customers, producing the documentation that is required for export compliance.
Responsible for Receiving Production, Expense, RMA (Returned Material), and Virtual items.
Responsible for completing cycle counts, weekly bin audits and inventory root cause analysis.
Participate in cross-functional teams devoted to efficiency, cost-reduction, inventory reduction, inventory turns, and quality.

Requirements/Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED.
3+ years of industry experience in warehousing / shipping / receiving / distribution.
Minimum 3 years working knowledge of UPS and FedEx online shipping system as well as international shipments and AES experience.
Experience working with an ERP System as well as Agile.
Proficient in using MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
Knowledge of ESD material guidelines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with cross functional team members.
Self-starter who requires minimal supervision, works well with teammates and internal customers, and has a results-based mindset and proven track record of success.
Work well under pressure and daily deadlines.

How you will thrive and create an impact
Inbound: Unload trucks, trailers, containers of freight, counting products, compare to manifest to check all shipments for damage, infestation, or production code dates. Material handlers must report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on appropriate forms. Also be able to sign for inbound shipments when necessary. All inbound shipments are moved safely to storage locations to be efficiently stacked as store merchandise.
Order Picking: Ensure that the correct product number, quantity and type (lot, batch, serial number) of product are picked. Transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment such as but not limited to fork trucks, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks. Materials handlers must be able to label, stencil, tag, mark orders, band, bundle, wrap, over-pack, and palletize as required.
Outbound: Compare quantity, labeling and address with order to ensure out-going shipments are complete and correct. Assign signature for outbound as necessary. Efficiently move product, cartons and or pallets into trailers, rail cars or containers.
Equipment: Maintain equipment in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. Operate equipment safely and efficiently. Comply with company standards and OSHA requirements.
Inventory: Keep accurate records and reports. Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts. Ensure proper stock rotation. May key inventory adjustments in computer.
Other Duties: Repack or re-box cases per customer instructions. Repair and consolidate damaged goods as required. Operate shrink-wrap machine. Charge forklift battery as needed; stack and or separate good from bad pallets when necessary; clean railcars, trailers, and truck docks, bays as requested.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:
The Utility Worker primarily works in the outside dock area of the AmeriGas facility. The employee is responsible for unloading empty propane cylinders from the truck(s), carrying them inside the dock area to the refill station, and refilling the cylinders. The filled cylinders are then moved back to the dock and reloaded onto the truck(s) for the next day's delivery. Other duties may include cylinder repair and maintenance, providing customer training on dispensing propane, and handling refills for walk-in customers.
