Job Skills / Requirements

The purpose of this position is to install, test, repair, and rekey mechanical and electronic locking and door opening and alignment equipment-including safes-in residential, commercial and industrial environments and to provide excellent customer service to our clients. The expectation for this position is that the technician will advance through training to achieve competency in areas that require it in a developing manner to achieve the highest level of proficiency and expertise.

Starting pay ranges from $15-$30 based on experience- also there is a monthly Incentive program of up to 6% of your annual pay!

Here's what you'll need:

* Valid license/good driving record
* Pass background checks and drug tests.
* Must be able to obtain specified licenses/certifications to perform work in the security industry according to the rules and regulations prescribed by the State in which the branch operates.
* High School Graduate or GED is required for all Per Mar Security Services positions.
* Must be able to travel, as needed.
* Must have mathematical skills including ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume along with ability to

apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

* Must have knowledge of master key systems, pinning lock cylinders, cutting keys, electronic and mechanical locking hardware and safe locks
* Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service and Accountability.

Here's what you'll be doing:

* Install, service and repair lock and door equipment, including mechanical and electronic door locking/securing hardware, open/closing equipment, anti-vandalism hardware and door alignment hardware
* Rekey lock cylinders and cut keys
* Install, service and repaire electronic safe locks
* Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
* Explain and demonstrate to the customer how the specific equipment works.
* Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department on a daily basis.
* Communicate with clients, co-workers and scheduler/dispatcher
* All other reasonable duties as assigned by the Installation Supervisor specific to the operation of daily business functions.
