Provides not only a key role in the responsibility of analyzing and editing complex data and completing a variety of special projects, but provides work direction for assigned Analysts. Completes all essential function of a Measurement Analyst III in addition to recommending, developing and conducting training of all measurement staff. Key Responsibilities: Compiles, edits and balances monthly volumetric. Transmits volumes to various internal and external sources Troubleshoots measurement deficiencies with supervisor, field personnel, and accounting groups. Sets up new meter stations in measurement calculation system to insure volumes are calculated in accordance to contractual and industry guidelines. Determines the appropriate placement of new and existing meters in physical flow balances. Reviews meter calibrations with-in Test-it and applies volume correction per contract for current month measurement data and issue PPA's when warranted. Reviews on-line gas chromatograph data for accuracy and completeness. Notifies field personnel of unit failure or tolerance exceptions. Reviews Ultrasonic Meter (USM) data for accuracy and completeness. Review s USM log files and compares to history to identify possible performance degradation. Manages liquid meter data, volumetric, ticketing, meter factors, etc. within FC. Files documents. Develops a working knowledge and understanding of gas measurement. Resolves measurement and quality exceptions in the exception resolver. Manages monthly balance closing. Develops and provides training to measurement analysts and other company personnel as needed. Acts as first point of contact for measurement analysts before escalating questions to measurement manager. Other duties as assigned. Travel up to 25% Experience and Education: High School Diploma or GED required; advanced degree in business, management or engineering preferred. Leadership experience preferred. Knowledge of SOX Measurement Requirements required. Five (5) years measurement experience preferred. Five (5) years oil and gas industry experience required; midstream preferred. Knowledge of current AGA, GPA and API standards and guidelines required. Strong knowledge of gas analysis calculations. Full understanding of liquid to mcf/mmbtu conversions and calculations. Skills: Mid-level to advanced Excel spreadsheet applications including both mathematical and functionality formulas, multi-page workbooks, experienced with Microsoft Word is preferred. Strong math and analytical abilities, ten-key by touch. Excellent communication skills including listening and comprehension are required. Organized and deadline oriented with flexibility to multitask. Must be comfortable with questioning or answering questions for all issues that are not understood. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma Has held the position of DC Ops Technician 1 for at least two years or have previous experience working in a Data Center environment (minimum 2 years). Facilities knowledge: HVAC systems, Power Distribution Units, UPS Systems, etc. Follow and create written procedures Ability to perform complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, solution development and implementation perform first echelon repair Have a solid understanding of network infrastructure components and applications Must have a working understanding of TCP/IP networking Have a solid understanding of host security (passwords, file permissions, file system integrity, security packages) and network security concepts Be able to follow backup/recovery procedures and disaster recovery procedures. Have the ability to work with people from various disciplines with varying degrees of technical skills in a professional manner. Pass a security background check as prescribed by NERC. Ability to maintain a positive attitude while adapting to quickly changing demands. Ability to work with little to no direct supervision. Have tool and equipment responsibility Demonstrate proficiency in creating, records input and closing Service Requests * Demonstrate the skills necessary to perform new hardware installation and setup under minimal supervision * Demonstrate the ability to perform routine maintenance of the Data Centers and surrounding facilities * Demonstrated the skills necessary to perform decommissioning and proper disposal of hardware under minimal supervision * Possess a basic understanding of all the hardware in the DC and surrounding facilities, explanation of their operation, what purpose they serve and how they relate to each other and external operations * Demonstrate the ability to read building/room diagrams, update and maintain them. (To include any software-based application like a Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tool) Demonstrate the ability to perform after hours escorts with minimal supervision while on call duty * Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Have an operational and reliable personal vehicle. be willing to drive his/her personal vehicle to different if required. Excellent personal computing skills including proficiency with standard office automation software such as MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio and Outlook. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information for security compliance Possess a thorough knowledge of safety regulations. Working Environment Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Operating computer, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer. Employee may potentially be exposed to hazardous chemicals, wet or humid conditions, outdoor weather, noisy and dusty environment.
