Zoox's Machine Learning Infrastructure team operates in the intersection of build engineering, internal software development, and applied ML research. We maintain the base layer of ML tools, deep learning frameworks, and inference libraries used by the research teams, add additional features, tooling, automation, and applications, and improve ML models in collaboration with the applied research teams. We advocate for strong software engineering fundamentals with our customer teams. We catalog the features, quirks, limitations, and bugs present in the systems we maintain so that we can best advise our customer teams when they encounter them.

Zoox is currently hiring for manager roles for both the Training and Inference subteams of the Machine Learning Infrastructure team.

As a Manager on the ML Infra team you will lead software engineers, acting as a force multiplier for the applied research teams. Balancing internal priorities, external requests, and unscheduled work is a key responsibility. Typical team tasks include library/package upgrades, application development, embedding ML Infra SWEs into customer teams to accelerate multi-month projects, and ad-hoc debugging support.

You will be responsible for hiring for and maintaining the health of your ML Infra subteam. You will help to grow and coach your direct reports and support the continued success of their careers.

Waters Corporation is currently seeking a Microdeburer to join our Global Machining Operations. Under general supervision, the Microdeburer will perform complex deburring of intricate machined metal and plastic parts through the use of 20X stereo microscope, miniature tools, and also operation deburring machinery like extrude hone, drill press, speed-lathe, and sandblasting.

The individual will work within the group to achieve quality, productivity and employee performance goals. As a member of the team, the individual will have the opportunity to suggest improvements to the existing procedures and processes.
This position will work during 6:30am-3:00pm, Day shift. Monday thru Friday.
