Successful bidder must attend training in areas relating to electrical safety such as arc flash. Must participate in and comply with all Safety, Good Manufacturing, and good housekeeping practices Repair and preventative maintenance on food manufacturing equipment Repair and preventative maintenance of non-production machinery and support equipment Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis of failures regarding machinery, defects with equipment, and systems Assembles, installs, repairs, and tests equipment, wiring, fixtures, PLC controlled equipment, and air, gas, steam, water, and waste disposal systems Complete repairs to electronic circuitry, PLC's relays, timers etc to keep the machines at top efficiency Assist in making repairs to high and low pressure boilers systems Must use SAP to track work order, completion of work, parts and materials used and time spent on each job Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualification and Training Expectations
Completed at least one half of the Amatrol program already established and currently being used in B training programs. (26 Laps) If Amatrol has not been completed, then equivalent outside education and/or experience pertaining to the maintenance field will be considered.
Available for all shifts Bidder will be required to take a series of PMMI competency tests related to the electrical field administered by Penn College.Penn College will solely grade the tests taken by the bidder and then make recommendations on courses that the bidder needs to take.Based on test results the bidder will be required to attend training courses administered by Penn College. These courses will be taken on bidder's own time.Bidder will be required to successfully pass each course that they are enrolled in.It is possible that the bidder successfully passes each PMMI competency test and then will only be required to complete the OJT of 3-6 years.Bidder will be in B electrical training program for not more than 6 years. This timeframe could be shorter depending on how quickly candidate progresses through training.Bidder will be required to train in all areas established by the training committee. Some examples are the 3rd floor, 2nd floor canning, 2nd floor microwave, cooker room, 1st floor microwave and 1st floor label lines.Within each area established by the committee the candidate will need to prove that they can work on equipment and perform all duties associated with that area.Successful bidder must attend training in areas relating to electrical safety such as arc flash.
