The second shift CNC Grinder II (Manual) is responsible for performing various types of manual grinding on products and partners with the Production Supervisor to ensure the machine shop meets daily production and quality goals. This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Machine Shop and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM and overtime is routine. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Select proper holding devices for work, i.e., chucks, collets, faceplates, vices, sine plates, etc. to perform ID (inner diameter), OD (outer diameter) and surface grinding to deburr parts during machining operations and on manual equipment based on blueprints and/or set-up sheets. Inspect and check work using precision measuring equipment, optical flats, micrometers, indicators, etc. and complete all necessary paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers, and data. Perform preventive maintenance on grinding equipment. The essential requirements of the job include: High School diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED) and minimum of three (3) years of related experience. Good knowledge of shop math and familiar with use of precision measuring equipment (i.e., optical flats, micrometers, indicators, etc.). Experience with Studer S21 and/or Studer 131 is a plus Work overtime as required. Frequent bending, lifting and standing for extended periods of time; frequent lifting up to 20 lbs. from floor to bench; occasional lifting to 35 lbs. Good eye and hand dexterity.
