In this position the successful candidate will be responsible for the performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for the total training systems to include hardware /software and courseware, simulation and scenarios used for customer training of air and ground crew\. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting system analyses that are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal\. The ideal candidate will developing highly creative training material for existing and new air & ground systems\. The ideal candidate will provide stand\-up training to the customer personnel at various locations\.

The successful candidate must have excellent creative capabilities in designing and creating technology\-based multimedia applications applying both innovative concept and methodologies and technical skills, using multiple media tools\. The training hardware and software designed may involve audio, digital animation, text, graphics, visual capture, Virtual Reality \(VR\), Augmented Reality \(AR\), photo and video and more for applications including web, mobile and simulation\.

Researches latest trends on graphic design, software and development techniques\. Must be able to interpret technical orders, illustrated parts manuals and technical drawings and schematic diagrams\.

Role description:

The Reliability Engineer provides technical applied support to engineering programs, processes, and product support, through conducting and providing analytical evaluations of components and/or systems performance across the CAHSR Project.

Role accountabilities:

* Collaborate in a team environment to perform routine analytical evaluation of Contractors performance of RAM work, in accordance with the Authorities CHSTP RAM program policy, by applying knowledge of the responsibilities listed in their contract; collaborate with various teams on RAM activities and communicate with internal and external program leads, including but not limited to, engineers, contractors, and the Authority; collaborate with Engineering, Program Management and Business Development to support Product Improvement and Retrofit (PI&R) initiatives with technically sounded Reliability analyses.
* Log, track and advise the Authority of possible RAM issues or conflicts that may affect project contracts, costs, or scheduling; log and track RAM submittals and other formal correspondence between the DB contractor, the Authority, and/or third parties; and add outstanding interface issues to the PCMs monthly compliance status report.
* Assist the Authority in finalizing RAM objectives.
* Review the contractors schedule submittals against RAM documents, to confirm the contractor has incorporated RAM requirements at all phases of design and construction; participate in the DB Contractors regularly scheduled RAM coordination meeting and verify the appropriate Authority interface staff are invited and attend these meetings.
* Verify the contractor's maintainability verification and demonstration is in accordance with the requirements of the contracts Inspection and Testing Plan, CRMP and relevant agreements; verify the design and construction activities are conducted in accordance with the RAM requirements and policies of the Authority; verify RAM documents are readily accessible for review by the Authority; verify each deliverable planned in the DB Contractors CRMP is completed in a timely manner and compliant with RAM requirements
* Provide RAM updates and validation so that the performance of the system is formally documented.
* Conducts routine analysis to evaluate product designs, methods, materials, or processes and completes required technical documentation by applying engineering principles and company standards, and generating reports, procedures, or change proposals as required; provide technical information for review with the Authority, contractor engineering and design review teams. Consistently applies established engineering defined practices, standards, and documentation methods; provide oversight of the RAM review process.
* Contribute to supporting documentation for procedures and technical reports.
* Conduct interface third party coordination meetings with the DB contractor, as needed, to monitor CRMP progress, prepare and distribute these meeting minutes
* Work assignments may include cross-functional or project team responsibilities. Contributes and supports other teams or individuals as needed.
* Perform Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis
* Apply RAM tools, standards, and analysis techniques and Logistics Product Data, and Life Cycle Cost Analysis (RAM-C)
* Evaluate and summarize large quantities of data to support technical discussions.
* Assist in organizing and coordinating maintenance activities for technical compliance.
* Provide engineering support to help improve availability and reduce maintenance costs.

Required Qualifications:

* 2 to 5 years previous work experience as a Ram Engineer or Systems Engineer.
* BS degree in RAM engineering, Civil engineering, System engineering or relatable field

Key Skills and Attributes:

* Demonstrated experience with analyzing large datasets (including databases) and drawing conclusions.
* Demonstrated successful use of statistical data analysis to make decisions.
* Demonstrated experience in reading and interpreting technical documents, procedure manuals, schematics, data books, handbooks, statistical process control, and sampling plans.
* Knowledge of RAM tools, standards, and analysis techniques.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
* The ability to read, analyze and interpret general business reports, technical procedures, and contractual regulations.

* The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
