**Description**

The System Silicon Program Manager is responsible for driving the system silicon plans and coordinating the silicon development process with system and cross functional teams at Apple. In this role, you will work with system teams to understand their silicon needs, collect requirements, work with cross functional teams to understand their silicon roadmaps and align on system silicon plans. Communicate system silicon needs to the silicon implementation team and work with them closely on development plans and implementation to meet system requirements. Review design documentation and participate in design reviews. Work with system and cross functional teams on silicon bring up plans, coordinate the validation efforts and drive resolution of silicon issues. We're looking for you to manage all aspects of silicon development and work directly with vendors on semi-custom silicon development. We expect you will manage risks and drive alignment of silicon development plans with system build timelines from first prototype build to release for mass production ramp.

The Program Systems Manager designs and automates data analytics, queries, data displays, procedures, imports, and exports within a variety of software systems primarily using Tableau, SQL, and XML, and helps to manage other enterprise content and software systems including user accounts and security roles. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS

Assist the Director of Information Services and district administration with the accumulation, organization, and analysis of data.
Organizes and maintains the district data warehouse
Expand, implement and maintain the district data architecture to serve a wide variety of needs. Be able to define scope, structure, format, and secure access to existing and new databases.
Provide support in maintaining the district's content management system and other database driven software.
Writes and maintains programming scripts for the HRIS, financial, and student information systems
Performs system maintenance including all upgrades for the student information system
Work with the Information Services team to ensure data reporting is provided to district stakeholders, State and Federal governments.
Tactfully communicate sensitive information, maintain confidentiality, and reinforce the practice of securing and protecting data when working with others.
Communicate potential risks and risk mitigation plans for technology projects to the Director of Information Services and to administrations in each building.
Work with the Director of Technology Infrastructure and Chief Technology Officer to best secure data systems.
Keep abreast with trends and latest developments in software development, cloud technology, and database environments and recommend best practices including appropriate technology, software, and processes.
Work closely with the Director of Technology Infrastructure to maintain and update systems and servers.
Cooperate with the Director of Information Services in making recommendations for software and hardware purchases related to information services.

REQUIRED SKILLS TO SUPPORT THESE RESPONSIBILITIES

Extensive experience using Tableau in creating dashboards and reports
Strong Microsoft SQL skills in maintaining and querying databases
Ability to create scripts that update existing applications
Experience working with student information systems, preferably Infinite Campus
Microsoft Server experience and familiarity with directory services
Ability to manage complex projects related to computer networks and databases
Ability to simplify and optimize repetitive technical tasks

PREFERRED SKILLS TO SUPPORT THESE RESPONSIBILITIES

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, related field, or equivalent experience
Experience with employee management systems, particularly Skyward
Experience developing/supporting object-oriented applications with Java, JDO, and the Eclipse IDE; experience with test-driven development and design patterns

Experience working with JSP, Javascript, and Google Apps scripts
Experience building data warehouse and ETL tool usage

Responsibilities:

Required Skills:

5-10 years of project/program leadership experience in positions of increasing responsibility

A demonstrated understanding of program management processes and tools including MS Project

A working knowledge of FAR based development contracts

A successful track record of proposal development/program capture

An understanding of strategies for proposal management, ensuring compliance, opportunity shaping, and offering differentiation

Desired Skills:

The candidate must have strong problem-solving skills, a demonstrated ability to innovate, and have excellent writing and presentation skills along with the ability to communicate complex ideas to technical experts and technically savvy non-experts

Experience working with the DoD agencies and DARPA offices, and a recent security clearance are highly desired

PMI certification and experience working in an Agile Software Development environment is a plus
