The Manufacturing Test Engineer develops and/or specifies necessary test equipment, software, and procedures for high volume production and testing of industrial and consumer goods. This role develops and maintains test software, technical specifications, and documentation for such equipment per established methods and also develops documentation and procedures as necessary for employee training and ISO compliance. This individual will work closely with other Engineering and Manufacturing personnel and provide assistance as needed for implementing test systems into production. The manufacturing test engineer will also assist with operations, maintenance, validation, troubleshooting, and repair of test equipment and software.
Requirements: Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering

Experience: Minimum 2 years of related engineering experience in the development of Test Systems using LabView, In-Circuit Testing (ICT), and Design For Test (DFT) Methods. Previous experience working in an environment in which 60 - 80% of the role's daily activities were related to LabView development, PCBA functional Fixture designs, and electronic circuits analysis.

Skills: Specific skills related to the development of Test Systems using LabView for PCBA assemblies and strong understanding of electronic circuits.

The RoleDevelop and deploy our ECU Manufacturing Tests to our CM's and ODM's, working closely with our SW & HW Engineering teams.Design, build, document & implement custom Test set ups & Fixtures for ECUsHands-on testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems from component to system level Perform functional analysis of ECUs to resolve manufacturing integration issues Setup the factory test lines, networking requirements, data collection and reporting.Create, execute and manage the Mfg Test plan for our products.Continually analyze work processes to identify optimization opportunities and implement process improvements.Communicate to management regularly on status, issues and solutions, improvement plans, program status and process recommendations.Up to 20% travel may be required.
You BringExperience in a WW Operations or Engineering, specifically CM/ODM's in AsiaHands-on experience with C/C++, Scripting, Test Equipment Driver development, dll's, LabVIEW, and NI's TestStand a plus Experience with high volume consumer products or electro-mechanical products, Automotive Electronics experience a plus.Demonstrated success in fast-paced environments Experience with analysis, design, testing, and documentation The ability to work SW and HW teams to find test solutions quickly and efficiently Able to read and understand schematics, test point requirements and net architecture.
