The Material Handler performs a variety of physical tasks to transport, store, and organize materials or merchandise within an establishment. Work may include manually loading or unloading freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices; unpacking goods; shelving or placing items into designated storage areas; and moving materials using forklifts, hand trucks, carts, or wheelbarrows.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload materials or merchandise manually from freight cars, trucks, or other transport equipment.
Transport goods within the facility using hand trucks, carts, or wheelbarrows.
Unpack, sort, and place items in proper storage locations.
Ensure materials are stored safely, securely, and in an organized manner.
Assist in maintaining clean and orderly storage areas.

Qualifications:
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.

Vehicle Operators (i.e., forklift, warehouse tractor, heavy truck, etc.) shall successfully complete an ANAD vehicle operator's training course prior to operating the equipment.
