Scans product to verify quantity, product item, prepare invoices, and shipping labels
Load and unload merchandise from trailers using pallet jack and manual methods
Examine and compare merchandise with original requisition to record information such as quantity, type of defects, and date on invoice or other forms
Pull items in specified quantities from shelves at or above expected productivity levels, and verbally verifies that correct items are picked with correct count

Responsible for maintaining the highest standard of safety and order in all areas of the Lining Department. This job requires frequent interactions with other employees. Stages materials for machines that will be running next, and back up machines
Stages caps at machines prior to the next shift coming in to facilitate a smooth shift change
Removes lined caps from machines and brings them to the warehouse staging areas
Depending on work load and # of operators being serviced, will help operators load hoppers on faster running machines, i.e. LM028
Communicates well with operators, to ensure material is delivered to machines before machine stops for lack of material
Removes empty pallets from machine areas
Removes gay lords from lining department and brings to recycling staging area (caps and webbing)
Maintains inventory accuracy of caps going into and out of lining inventory locations
Can identify and correct any errors made during the labeling or consumption processes
Maintains the charging of electric pallet jack and daily inspections
Can use a scanner

Job Summary:

**Forklift Operator** The Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring efficient flow of materials, supplies, and products within our facilities while meeting productivity requirements and maintaining KDP's high standards in safety and quality.
**Shift and Schedule:**
This is a full time position working 12 hour shifts on a 3-4 rotations **.** Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.
+ D2: Friday - Sunday, with alternating Thursdays, from 6:00am - 6:15pm
**Position Responsibilities:**
1. Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times. 2. Learn to safely operate multiple types of powered industrial trucks in environments with pedestrians. 3. Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are in place while loading/unloading trucks.4. Collaborate with production team by interpreting production needs, supplying line with materials and transporting finished product to warehouse or trailers. 5. Rotate floor stock, moving oldest product first.6. Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas.7. Demonstrate KDP values of Team First, Deliver Big, Think Bold, Being Fearless and Fair.
$800 total sign on bonus. $300 within the first 30 days. $500 at 9 months.
**Qualifications:**
1. Ability to quickly learn and safely operate powered industrial trucks. 6 months of forklift operation experience preferred.
2. Self-motivated team player with ability to make decisions, communicate and problem solve.
**Total Rewards:**
Pay starting at **$23.55 per hour.** The employee will move to a higher rate of **$24.72 per hour** in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.
