A minimum of three (3) years of hospice/home health experience required; five (5) to seven (7) years' experience and clinical expertise in hospice preferred. Certification in hospice nursing (CHPN) preferred. Expertise in regulatory requirements and compliance as it pertains to hospice required.     Job Summary: The Manager of Facilities oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all facility-related operations across NorthStar Care Community (NSCC). Responsible for overseeing and/or maintaining the physical appearance and condition of all NSCC buildings, both owned and leased, ensuring they are clean, safe, and visually appealing. The Manager also supervises the Property Management staff who handle physical maintenance, repairs, and improvements at all NSCC locations, and initiates and manages the relationships with external contractors (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, snow removal, landscaping, janitorial, structural improvements, etc.) and landlords. Essential Functions: Leads the planning and execution of office moves, renovations, and space upgrades. Serves as a collaborative partner with internal teams to meet space and facility needs; demonstrates empathy, neutrality, and professionalism in handling stakeholder concerns. Manages space planning using AutoCAD, including creating accurate layouts and identifying construction needs. Develops and maintains floor plans and layouts using AutoCAD. Develops and manages facility project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Oversees the setup of utilities, janitorial services, and general maintenance vendors at new sites. Sources, hires, and oversees contractors, movers, and service vendors; works with construction trades for office build-outs and renovations. Conducts on-site measurements and space assessments. Provides 24/7 on-call coverage across all offices, with the Property Management Team providing real-time support and feedback. Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience is preferred. Hands-on experience and proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software is required. Strong knowledge of furniture systems, office design, and space utilization is required. Having a collaborative mindset and being able to lead by influence and cooperation is required. Demonstrated success in managing multi-site facility operations and overseeing large-scale office projects is required. Must possess high emotional intelligence and sensitivity to workplace dynamics. Functions as a member of the Prenatal Education Services Team. *What the lactation consultant will need:* * Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) * Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Michigan. * Certified by the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice (ALPP) as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) * Certification through the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBCLC) preferred. If not IBCLC, must become IBCLC within two years. * Registered Nurse with three years' experience in a perinatal services. * Demonstrated clinical expertise, professional judgment and advanced knowledge about human lactation. *What the lactation consultant will do:* * Develops, implements and evaluates breastfeeding educational programs for patients and families, prenatally and postpartum. * Provides breastfeeding assessment, support and counseling to inpatients and outpatients * Provides ongoing education and training for Birth Center staff and physicians, including competency validation, orientation of new employees, and basic and advanced in-services. * Collaborates with Birth Center staff and leadership to develop, implement and update, as needed, standards of care related to breastfeeding.
