The Metal Apprentice 1 will perform cleaning and maintenance for various metals as prescribed by routine and custom metal maintenance programs. Allied Universal Janitorial Services is a Union signatory, in good standing, of the Painters District Council No. 14 IUPAT, AFL-CIO. On the job training is provided.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Clean, polish, and highlight of all types of metals
+ Perform architectural bronze, stainless steel, and aluminum refinishing
+ Clean and coat exterior metal curtain wall building facade
+ Apply of high-performance paints and coatings
+ Perform custom tailored metal maintenance programs
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Valid driver's license, if driving a company or customer supplied vehicle
+ No experience required
+ No prior knowledge or skills are required
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Stone restoration knowledge
+ Work or training experience involving refinishing of architectural metals (revolving doors), window frames, elevators, and escalators, etc.
