Molding line assistant job description

Job Title: Line Cook - Full Time
Location: Elmore Assisted Living – Elmore, MN
Schedule: Full Time and Part Time Available, Days (9:30am to 6pm) + Every Other Weekend (9:00am to 5:30pm)

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00/hour

If you are a line cook, prep cook, or have experience in the food or hospitality industry, you need to read on! Sunflower Communities has an opportunity for a cook for our assisted living community in Elmore. You will work directly under the Executive Chef to follow recipes, prepare ingredients, and create delicious meals for residents.

Cook Responsibilities:

• Follow guidance of the Executive Chef to prepare and dish meals for our residents
  
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
  
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
  
• Maintain high quality food safety standards
  

Cook Qualifications:

• High School diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
  
• Previous food prep experience required
  
• Acknowledgement and compliance with sanitation regulations
