Job Title: Store Clerk/Cashier
Reports to: Store Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
The full-time or part-time Cashier position is a valuable team member of the store operation and is responsible for performing various operational store functions. The cashier is responsible for the checkout procedures at the store and assisting the customer and supporting efficient store operations.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES in the following but not limited to:
Processing sales transactions
Calculating and returning change for cash transactions
Maintaining adequate change denominations and requesting additional change
Answering customer questions about products or services and providing recommendations based on customer needs
Cross-selling and upselling products
Reconciling cash drawers and sales receipts
Reporting issues with equipment
Collaborating with the team to meet store sales goals.
Responding to and resolving customer complaints and concerns
Processing returns and exchanges
Maintaining clean and tidy checkout and merchandise areas, mopping the floor, cleaning the restrooms, emptying the trash cans, and performing other cleaning activities
Assisting in stocking and rotating merchandise
Scanning and bagging items accurately and efficiently
Staying up to date on merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information
All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE:
Computer literacy and experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Customer service experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Position Purpose:

This position provides secretarial support for court services staff in a judicial circuit by managing an office; greeting and assisting those who come to the office; answering and redirecting telephone calls and e-mail messages; maintaining pertinent records, files, and documentation; collecting data and reports; preparing documentation; attending judicial proceedings and preparing and distributing paperwork appropriately; entering data into Unified Judicial System (UJS) computer systems; and providing caseload support as needed to facilitate office operation and staff's efficiency. Duties may include:
Working as a receptionist to maintain an efficient flow of work through the office.
Preparing and maintaining documents to meet timelines and legal guidelines.
Performing administrative work to maintain the office and provide staff support.
Attending court proceedings to collect information for case management systems.
Performing other work as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or achievement of a GED certificate. One year of clerical support or related experience; or an equivalent combination of related education and experience. Post high school education including secretarial, computer, and transcription training desirable.
Successful completion of a criminal background investigation is required for employment.

Will be interacting with individuals outside of the department including but not limited to: providers, case managers, third party payers, public organizations, etc. May be asked to supervise assistants, aides, and students as they provide client/patient/resident care, treatment, or other services. Will be expected to provide ongoing education and training to peers in the area(s) of expertise as determined by the department leadership. Performs other related duties as requested by manager.
Based on assigned area, work may focus on those receiving intervention in the post-acute, long term care and home health care environments when applicable.
Qualifications
Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Speech-Language Pathologist.
When working at a Sanford Health Facility (not required but preferred by GSS Facilities): Holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or currently working on Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
When applicable, may require valid driver's license.
Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.

**Job Summary**
Assesses clients/patients/residents and designs occupational therapy treatments. Help clients/patients/residents to develop, maintain and recover their ability to perform tasks in client's/patient's/resident's occupations of life. The therapist conducts evaluations and provides interventions for clients/patients/residents who have functional, cognitive or behavioral impairments. Occupational Therapist evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental and psychosocial abilities of clients/patients/residents; developing realistic therapy goals and administering appropriate occupational therapy programs. Documents client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation; establishes therapeutic plans and modifies them if necessary. Provides clients/patients/residents education designed to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes. Knowledge of and utilizes appropriate age-related treatments and evaluations relating to the needs of clients/patients/residents. Demonstrate and incorporate knowledge of current research into daily treatment of clients/patients/residents.
May treat individuals of all ages with varying diagnosis and disorders. Will demonstrate documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and meet all regulatory requirements. Demonstrates level of treatment associated with their specialty provided to their clients/patients/residents. Follows and adheres to accepted clinical practice guidelines of professional organization.
Exhibits flexibility with acceptance of variable work schedules/assignments. Participates in activities to promote the department, Good Samaritan Society and Sanford Health. Will be interacting with individuals outside of the department including but not limited to: providers, case managers, family members, third party payers, public organizations, etc. May be asked to supervise assistants, aides, and students as they provide patient/resident care, treatment, or other services. Will be expected to provide ongoing education and training to peers in the area(s) of expertise as determined by the department leadership. Performs other related duties as requested by manager.
Dependent on facility and location, work may focus on those receiving intervention in the post-acute, long term care, and home health care environments.
**Qualifications**
Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist.
When working at a Sanford Health Facility (not required but preferred for GSS Facilities): Must also be certified through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). When applicable, may require valid driver's license. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
In the state of South Dakota and Iowa, new graduates in the process of testing with the board, will be considered with the possession of a temporary license.
