The Radiology MRI Tech will join the family of dedicated nurses and other health care professionals living out a mission to heal people in body, mind and spirit. With services ranging from family-centered maternity care and high level neonatal care to technologically advanced cardiac services and an innovative palliative care program, our work touches people at every stage of their lives.

Under the direction of Manager of Radiology, the Diagnostic Imaging MRI Tech will perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The Radiology MRI Tech will have to calculate figures and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and procedure manuals

The Diagnostic Imaging MRI Tech will work under the guidance of the MRI Tech Manager. The Radiology MRI Tech will be responsible for keeping the procedure room and work area neat and clean while maintaining close communication with the department manager. The Diagnostic Imaging MRI Tech will perform a variety of technical procedures that requires independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.

The Radiology MRI Tech will comply with all medical center policies and procedures and maintains a professional appearance and demeanor. The ideal Diagnostic Imaging MRI Tech should have completed a formal Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program or equivalent training with Washington State Technologist Certification and Siemens MRI experience preferred. Candidates can be eligible if they meet one of the following pathways:
1. MR certified RT(MR)(ARRT) through ARRT
2. MR certified through ARMRIT
3. Registered Technologist RT(R)(MR)(ARRT)
4. Registered Technologist RT(R)(ARRT) and MR registry eligible to be completed within 1 year required.
