The Radiology MRI Tech will join the family of dedicated nurses and other health care professionals living out a mission to heal people in body, mind and spirit. Under the direction of Manager of Radiology, the Diagnostic Imaging MRI Tech will perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The Radiology MRI Tech will have to calculate figures and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and procedure manuals

The Diagnostic Imaging MRI Tech will work under the guidance of the MRI Tech Manager. The Radiology MRI Tech will be responsible for keeping the procedure room and work area neat and clean while maintaining close communication with the department manager. The Diagnostic Imaging MRI Tech will perform a variety of technical procedures that requires independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.

The Radiology MRI Tech will comply with all medical center policies and procedures and maintains a professional appearance and demeanor. The ideal Diagnostic Imaging MRI Tech should have completed a formal Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program or equivalent training with Washington State Technologist Certification and Siemens MRI experience preferred. Candidates can be eligible if they meet one of the following pathways:
1. MR certified RT(MR)(ARRT) through ARRT
2. MR certified through ARMRIT
3. Registered Technologist RT(R)(MR)(ARRT)
4. Registered Technologist RT(R)(ARRT) and MR registry eligible to be completed within 1 year required.

The ideal candidate must possess:

• ARRT Certification - REQUIRED
• CRT Certification - REQUIRED
• Minimum of 5 years experience
• GE experience 1.5T w/12x or higher
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
• Understanding of Joint Commission
• Hard working and detail-oriented
• Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team
• Committed to outstanding patient care and have a positive attitude
